Eligibility Requirements
Before applying for marriage in Abu Dhabi, ensure you meet these requirements:
Both parties must not be UAE Nationals who are Muslims
Both parties must consent to the marriage
Both parties must be at least 18 years of age
The parties must not be related by first or second degree
Neither party can be currently married to someone else
Step-by-Step Process
Step 1: Download and Complete the Marriage Application Form
Fill out the marriage application form with all required personal information for both parties, including:

Scroll down and select “Abu Dhabi Civil Family Court” option

Step 8: Select Civil Marriage
Choose “Civil Marriage” and then click on “Civil Marriage Request”
Step 9: Complete Both Forms
You’ll find two forms – one for the husband and one for the wife:
Check the “Requester” option in the appropriate section (husband or wife)

Step 10: Upload Required Documents
In the lower section of the same page:
Upload your completed marriage application form
Upload passports for both husband and wife Submit your application
Step 11: Payment
You’ll receive an email with a payment link Complete the payment as instructed
Step 12: Book Your Civil Marriage Ceremony
After payment, you’ll receive another email to schedule your ceremony
Click on “Response With New Suggested Date”
Enter your preferred date in DD/MM/YYYY format
In the comments section, specify your preferred time
